Mine came with a clip, so what’s the appeal of this one now?

Oh, the first ones that came out initially had no clips as standard, they were asking for the clip only.

Ok, thanks, wasn’t sure if this SS clip was superior to the stock clip or something… a “must have” . Smile

Yeah, to be honest the stock clip isn’t great IMHO. I stupidly tried to bend mine into a better shape and the steel snapped. I’ve ordered a universal replacement clip to see if it’s any better (but I’m not holding my breath). That said… good to know that these are finally available to those that have been desperately wanting one.

The clip on my light as it came is sufficient for a shirt pocket or light jacket but I wouldn’t try to use it with denim jeans. I like how it fits in a shirt pocket, deep carry with no flashlight protruding, great in a light jacket with a fold over button down flap. Smile

The UI is not so much to my liking. Normal modes are Hi and Med with low requiring entry by a long press from off. Double tap for Strobe, triple tap for SOS.

I’d rather have ramping but of course it would appear to be glued and it’s not going to be easy to change the driver, I will, sure, but it’s not going to be easy.

I’d snag one, but that top bend is so stinkin’ tight. Annoyed me so much that I (stupidly) tried to open up my original one and ended up snapping it.

Considering picking up one of these guys. I measured the Mi7 to be 16mm diameter, says it should fit 16-18mm. If it works out, I’ll probably strip the coating. Anybody try one of those yet?

Ordered one from GB, in the meantime received a Jetbeam Jet-1 MK (yes shipping slow at 75 days, about double what most past orders). Good news is that I like the light and the clip seems to fit on the Klarus Mi7 as well
