A Homemade human body induction night light

1W led needs 3.2 V voltage, 350ma current. Normally there should be a constant flow circuit made of LM317. I tested the bread version under the condition of the 5 v power supply triode, it can light up.

See LM317 pdf
The triode is more convenient to do it, but the At the ends of LED voltage is 2.8 V. The brightness of the two leds are less than 2 w but have been able to meet the requirements of small night lamp.It has low calorific value so also do not need to add heat sink, can prolong the service life of the LED.

Prepare components
1 HC SR501 human body induction module
2 1 w white LED
2 2.2 euro 2 watt resistor
3 100 euro 1/4 watt resistor
3 9013 triode
1 16 v electrolytic capacitor 220 u
1 104 monolithic capacitors
1 DC002 power plug
1 DC002 power socket
1 Latching switch
1 5 * 7 cm hole hole boards

The above is finished welding appearance

Find a broken mouse, strip the line. plug The DC002 receiving in mouse line. In general, there are four lines. Which negative black one and red one is positive, the other two can be ignored.
Then looking for a power adapter with USB output interface which voltage was more than 5 v, current 500 ma

After the power on, when people walk to his scan range, the light automatically on, the lamp automatically died out when people go away after a while. On the HC SR501 human body induction module, there are two adjustable potentiometer are respectively the scanning range and delay time. I also welded a photoresistor on HC SR501 to guarantee the light died out during the day.

Welcome to BLF, cool invention, you built youself a night light  :+1:
I probably just going to buy cheap night light instead buying all those parts… much cheaper

Thanks for sharing your build here! :+1:

Cool… love the DIY ingenuity.
