Help me spend a $18.19 ebay bucks certificate, what have you had your eye on?

Ok, I have a $18.19 ebay bucks certificate that expires in couple weeks.

I do not have anything I need from ebay at the moment so this is “me money”.

What items have you had your eye on for around $20 on ebay?

Open to anything cool, flashlight related or otherwise.

I have always loved these things, that is an interesting idea, completely useless but cool lol.

Problem here is I have nothing to use it in. 3000k is a bit warm for my taste, I like the 4500k myself.

I got the exact same one for my cousin as a Christmas present, it’s a nice but useless gift, the only problem is that it squeaks quite a bit (not sure if this is just the one I bought, or a problem with all of them). The squeaky part is inside the milky tube, otherwise I would already have bended the metal so it wouldn’t happen anymore.

Other than that it’s fine, works well with ovens and even tea cups, but of course the bottom will be full with condensed water after use, so keep a small cloth nearby.

I used oil to put on the milky part of the glass then a cloth to remove what is too much
No squeeking anymore

Cheers mate, I’ll give that a try… I was thinking about applying some Ballistol, and then thought it would probably not work anyway unless I somehow bent (not bended, as I wrote earlier, stupid mistake) the metal in addition to this, so I didn’t even try to do it.

I still haven’t seen him and the present is over at my parent’s house, so he doesn’t have his present yet, so I still have time to do this before he even receives his present.

I think I determined that I need/want a charger with the money.

My charging bank works great for 18650’s and even 26650 but since the slots are not adjustable it is much harder to charge 26350’s, 18350’s, 14500 ect.

So I want a charger that can handle all of these cells.

In particular I have a few lights running 4x 26350’s and would love a charger that can handle 4 of them at once, anyone know of one? The D4, VC4 and efest V4 are the only ones I really know of in this price range on ebay, anyone know of another good option?

What would people say is the best of the budget chargers available on ebay? I mostly care about accuracy and the final voltage being between 4.15-4.2v but not over.

I guess Liitokala lii-500 and Opus bt-c3100 are out of $ range ?

But i think both of them stop at 4.21V , not sure .

Do either of them allow for 4 26650’s to be charged at once?

I was looking at HKJ’s reviews and I think the VC4 is the one that fits me better, it uses a nice constant current charge and doesn’t overshoot the voltage (I see no reason to reduce the cell life by going over 4.2v, I actually prefer them a bit under 4.2 to further extend the life).

The efest V4 also looks good but slightly overshoots the voltage in some cases.

VC4 is a very good charger , HKJ knows better of course

I have a lii-500 , it doesn’t charge 4 26xxx batteries simultaneously , i don’t know about Opus (i will actually have one here in a few days) .

I think Opus charges them at 4.20V exactly , maybe someone can confirm it .

I went ahead and got the VC4, I considered the VC2 but the VC4 was only a bit more.
