6-8 deg hotspot with spill

Hi,

I’m looking for a good divelight optics for XP-L hi or XHP-35 hi.
I need 6-8° hotspot with spill.
I have already found theese optics:

Ledil

Carclo

ebay

LEDsales

Does anybody have experiences with similar spot optics and theese leds?

2 last will have much larger hotspot.
2 first should have same cd/lm (throw), with big difference in light distribution (like others SMO reflector vs TIR).
I can offer you Ledlink LL01CR-BLU03L06 35mm Ultra Narrow Punch Beam
XP-L HI: 6.0° FWHM, 47.5 cd/lm
XHP35 HI: 6.9° FWHM, 34.4 cd/lm
Smaller TIRs with 6-8 degrees from XHP-35 does not exist, but you can try to find 25-30mm smo reflectors. I can even giveaway some suitable ones (taken from brand lights) for shipping costs.

Thank you for your suggestion.
The LL01CR-BLU03L06 looks quite good. for a single led light.

One really important thing I forgot to write down:
-the optics diameter should not be bigger than 25 mm (20 or less is preferred), because I would like to use multiple leds

Miracles do not exist. You can use small tirs with xp-e2, but with xhp35 any optics under 20mm will give you 20+ degree hotspot.

But I was hoping it exists.

xp-e2 output is significantly lower than xhp or xp-l have.

And what about the XP-L hi and small optics combination?

If you have found 26.5mm carclo, you could check 20mm version as well.

20mm first, 26.5mm second
But note that there will be almost no spill, most light goes to this angles (7-10 degrees).
If you need smaller hotspot with less amount of light in it and much more light around, you need reflector.
You can check beamshots in this thread:

I do not insist on using TIR optics, reflector is also a possible solution.
I only need an appropriate beam pattern. Like this: video , pic

I would like to make single, tri and quad versions, that is why the optics has to be relative small (for tri and quad).

Another option would be a fixed focus aspheric. Zoomies aren’t a great idea because of the pressure change in the light. Slightly out of focus will produce a tight narrow beam but with significant lumen loss. Should get the beam angle you want though. Ahorton makes a size to fit minimags ~23mm I think.

A TIR optic like those will give you a spot with almost no spill.
If you want spot+spill you need to use a reflector.

I started with a 40mm aspheric lens, but when the beam was tight enough the led pattern was visible.
And I would prefer a circular pattern instead of rectangular.

I have been looking for reflectors for a while.

I have already found only Ledil C11347_REGINA for XP-L hi, and it might be good according to the parameters and the relative intensity curve.
And I’m also thinking about to try an s2 reflector and XP-L hi combination. But I have not found any info about the size of the hotspot and spill yet.

And I have not found any reflector for XHP-35 hi that produce the beam pattern I need, and It’s size is also acceptable.
