KD 105E driver question.

This is the driver that I am asking about.

I am wondering if anyone knows what the R3,R4 and R5 on the bottom side of the driver would be used for. I will have one in hand today, if I am lucky with the USPS lottery.

Bridges that parallel the stars so you can use surface-mountable jumpers to solder the mode-selection in place. Easier than bridging the gap from the star to the ground ring.

That’s my favorite driver for the 18650 SK-98 zoomie host. Paired with an XP-G2, makes a good combination.

That is good news, stars are a pain to solder. That is the exact light it is going into, xm-l2 for now but may become a 219c.

Sounds good; I prefer the smaller die (and corresponding higher surface brightness) which makes the zoomie host a bit more impressive than with the raw lumen output of the xm-l2. My first build was with the same driver and a XP-L HI, but I swapped that one out pretty quickly.
