Cree XLamp XP-G Series 4.9W 4500K LED Warm White XPGWHT-01-0000-00GE4

as the subject said? is there any interest in this SPECIFIC led ?

bump…

in bulk? available for 20 cents apiece…. LMAO

why have fake LatticeBright, if this is a 2012 lot of NOS CREE xp-g… i mean for 20 cents each? geez…

might be just the thing to mod cheap multi-emitters lights…?

I just wonder if its a “desireable” emitter at all, if it was cheap enough…?

How many are we talking? I am interested. If the minimum quantity isn’t too high.

I found a deal? for a thousand… I dont know how quick i have to act…

not that i expect anyone to go in on a thousand emitters?

I was just WONDERING how cool it would be to have this particular emitter, available dirt cheap? I mean, what if i buy the reel of 1000, just sayin… what am i gonna DO, but keep a hundred of them for a “lifetime supply” and i have to do something with the other 900, right?

I would buy 200 at .10 a piece. I’m sure you could sell the rest here if you go ahead with the order.

At $0.10 a piece I would be in for a few

This is not a bad emitter at all. There are many that now tower over it but for cheap they are great. The best use for many of these would be to rebuild one of the cheep Chinese lightbars.

Why i am asking? is i was thinking of getting them, for the &^%$ of it… but i mean, they are what i think they are, right? there isnt some weird case configuration or voltage i am not knowledgeable to be aware of?

xpg-1’s used to be the standard thrower LED, right? i figured if i dumped them on our market cheap, everyone could replace every last lattice bright in SIGHT with a real cree, lmao…

or, are these “ugly tint stepchildren”, i wouldnt know… i need an expert opinion…

The tint is nice. It might be a bit warm for some but most on the forum appreciate the neutral white.

okay… let me think about this? but… if i buy a whole REEL, and have to chop them up into piece meal orders… i was thinking, 20 cents a piece? as many as you can fit into whatever envelope needed to cram them into the mail…

I mean, you cant buy a real CREE under a dollar? this would be FIVE for a dollar, lol… i was thinking snipping off of a reel, i could just mail them in regular renvelopes, right? my desire wold be to flood our local market on this site with them…

I mean, for a buck or two envelope? i could mail as many as needed… I was thinking CONUS only, to simplify things…

but then again, this is budget light forum, ha ha… as long as it doesnt cost me anything, i see there might be interest in this emitter if it goes cheap in bulk… cool…

I need my head examined… I just ordered two T-H-O-U-S-A-N-D.

Needless to say, once i get a hold of them? I will want to start bulk shipping these puppies out, LMAO…

I will keep you guys posted. My theory was?

1) someone chimed in, and wanted two hundred of them…
2) someone else said something…
3) I figured if 200 of them is spoken for in minutes? why not get 2000…
4) I am hoping they will be de-domeable, hopefully…
5) i can finally learn to solder emitters, i have no excuse not to learn, ha ha
6) i am hoping these will be cheap enough, people will want a bunch for multi-emitter LB swaps….

XP-G is a very nice 3535 emitter. Very dedomeable. Good for your “standard” emitter for beam/tint comparison baseline because it’s well known to almost every flashaholic worlwide.
I still use my XPG 6200K I bought in 2006 because I know it’s standard and gives out Cree’s trusted output.
If I’m in US I will order some. But the cost to ship it to my country must be very expensive.

- Clemence

okay, so i’ll be able to get rid of these, good… cause hey are on their way here, lol…

i can only use so many of them myself, ha ha.

holy crap, clemence!

i was curious how much to send a small package to Indonesia from here in the states? cheapest that came up was something like 32 USA dollars… good lord…

i figured it wold be expensive, but not THAT expensive…. geez.

I was super excited about this after reading about the price and was thinking about 50-100 pcs but then you said some bs like “conus only”… but, maybe it’s for the best, what would I do with 50-100 outdated emitters…

I knew it’s expensive
Let’s keep it for someone else then

What is CONUS btw?

Contiguous United States (the US minus Hawaii and Alaska as they’re geographically separated a bit)

48 states of USA excluding Alaska and Hawaii. Or as I read it: “everione outside of US, suck it”…
