ThruNite Warranty

Has anyone here returned a light to ThruNite for repair? I sent one back through Goinggear.com around the first of September. I have asked them two times for information regarding the status of my light and only received a response to the first inquiry. The response was "We are still waiting on it to come back from ThruNite."

The best part? I bought this light from Goinggear.com on July 29th. I had it one month and had to send it in for repair because it was malfunctioning. Goingear.com would not do an exchange because it was out of their 30 day warranty. I wanted to purchase a different light (a more expensive light) and pay the difference. They weren't having it.

The ThruNite itself is the Neutron 2A in Neutral in my signature. I charged the batteries in that light every weekend. Two Eneloop AAs. Before I sent it back, the light had changed all of the modes. "Firefly" was "barely on", low was low, medium was low, high was low and sos was dim sos. Turbo was low and strobe was dim strobe. This doesn't seem to be a common issue with these lights.

Should I keep hassling Goinggear.com? It has been 60 days.

Never owned a thrunite . I’ve bought a few lights from them without any complaints. Marshall is pretty good with handling things over there. I would stay on top of things but don’t harass them. It might just be thurnite that is haulting things. Try contacting thurnites CS and see what’s going on. Good luck
