Confirm message pops up frequently now

There is a “confirm” message that pops up every time I’m about to leave a page. I have to click to confirm and it warns me that I’ll lose info that I’ve changed if I leave however I haven’t changed anything (or posted anything). It does this every time. Something must be set wrong I would think.

Its if you put anything into the *quick reply* box, and then start navigating again. Its asking you if your happy to lose the stuff you typed in the box?

(includes the situation where you might have clicked into the box but not typed anything??)

It only warns me if I'm about to type something in the quick reply box and then navigate away. I haven't experienced any of the recent issues and I'm using Google Chrome if that means anything.

Hi there gcbryan, could you please try to clear your browser cache to see if this resolves the problem? Anybody else have this issue?

Thanks a lot, sorry for the inconvenience!

For what's it worth, I just like to say I'm did not have any issue at all.

I did clear the cache. It’s done this before on this site for no reason but now it’s doing it every time. It’s not just if I click into the comment box or start to make changes. It every page I read and then hit the back button to go back to the recent posts. It is the message that was referred to above however.

Hmm, I honestly don't know what to think. You're on Firefox?

Yes. If the message could just be disable (is that possible?) I don’t see how it would affect anyone else adversely. It more or less states the obvious anyway.

I think the message is from Firefox actually. But I'm not sure why it's appearing for you, because I also use Firefox.
