Found this on DE this morning. And I can only say that (drool wipe) I like the (drool wipe) look.

I´ve had to order one and my first 18650 batteries this morning. Dont know if this will truly work out for me to be THE flashligh. But damn I love the look.

Same kind of tough yet flexible clip, push-pull zoom action (that you can tighten up & make water proof if you have a lathe + an o-ring)

Hate the mode thingy though. I mean really, come on: High - Med - qeasy mode. Like the romisen rc-29 I have and wholeheartedly dislike because of the strobe. Why dont they just... I dont know. Force the guy who came up with strobe mode the very first time to sit tied in a room with his eye lids superglued to his forehead and looking at ALL the flashlights in the world that has a strobe blinking at him forever!

Was that too much? Probably - but I have a vicious cold and I´m feeling vengeful this morning. (And My head feels 3 sizes too big for my brain right now - is that normal ;-)

Wish it had a proper 1 mode driver and an XP-G in neutral tint. But then again - maybe then the price would be more than 9,30 shipped.

In fact IF it had a proper 1,4 A 1 mode driver and a properly heat sinked XP-G it would be the perfect candidate for a QTC pill mod.... Mua ha ha ha It would rule the world with that! (my world anyway.)

Greetings to M3tal_L0rd in Finland. But does anyone know this seller? And the 500 lumens that the description says is just - well - not so thrustworthy.

And I have no idea about the shipping times from that vendor anyhow, from DX I KNOW its slow :-)

Havent pulled the trigger on the order just yet. Still trying to figure out if there is a better option with the same host. Doubt it but still ... Esp. after M3tal_L0rd´s post.

Don't worry about 500 lumen claims... Chinese lie about lumens. I'm 95% sure it's same light.

Thanks again. How is it that i can never find those reviews when I´m looking for them? I thought I was thorough when searching the forum before i posted the first post in this thread. Sorry for being such a noob with this, and thank you for your patience with me.

Well M3tal_L0rd I really should thank thank you for saving me a few bucks AND for showing me the review( s ).

I ended up buying from that seller allthough the 32 days that someone posted they had to wait is NOT to my advantage since I´ll have departed home then and be gone for another 10 weeks at least. So I may end up trying this light in early february. I really dislike the unusual long delivery times we suffer from the mail time from HK.

On a different but related note I also pulled the trigger on an XTAR MP1 charger ( I noticed the charger´s name in your sig. line and knew that other XTAR chargers had good rewievs. This also since the ever active OLD4570 has tested it and found it very good. And I also bought 2 trustfire flames "3000" mAh batts that i suspect will be 2400´s since that is what most other people measure.

These last things I ordered from MANAFONT due to 2 things - they have a better reputation when it comes to handling claims and they have a reputation of shipping items FAST. So we will see if I receive this before I go sailing again.

Anyhow, thanks for the pointers eventhough the charger bit was indirectly.

It draws 1,7 A on high, 0,3A on low and something like 0,8 A on quesy mode.

With that kind of power going to the emitter it has allready started turning a little bluish.

I have put thermal paste under the led star.

The build quality is so-so but for 6,63 shipped it is okay.

Planning on putting an 1,4 A 7135 driven driver in it and a xp-g.

Very similar... decent build, nice and solid... only gripe is every time i slide the head back it pinches my finger and thumb big time.

A good discussion in there. Bu yes, we are seriously in need of cree to make a high temperature led with a narrow angle optic on top. Or to put a narrow angle optic on top of the xm-l. I dont know. I just want it. :D

This is a similar light to the one in question from my personal favorite ebay seller, Vikicompany. Very quick to respond, and always accepts resonable OBO offers on lights.

Sadly, I have not found an ebay auction for just the light by itself, but I have asked the seller if it could be made available. I'll update this when I hear back.

Did I miss something or are there dozens of auctions for the light by itself here? The SA9 light is the one you are speaking of? DX also has a similar one.
