okay? what happened to KingKong cells? used to be everywhere... like hen's teeth now...

they were in builds… mtn elec had lots of them

they were inexpensive and had good specs. prices were very reasonable too.

what happened? before i got my first 2650 light? i always envisioned that when i did, i would surely hit mtn (i’m in the states…) and load up on several of them, safe and secure in the knowledge? i had good numbers, on big batteries, at very reasonable cost investment.

now? very few 26650s around at all, and no kong cells to be found… what gives?

Maybe the market has moved towards higher capacity 26650s?

the fakes ruined them.
real ones are great.
use the liitokala inr26650-50a now but be warned the id is a bit large for some lights and mods.
i set my business partner up with my last loose one for one of his vape mods.
the liitokalas are just a bit too big.
best out there in every other regard.
