Ok, I have a virtually new Xtar VC4. I got it a few months ago figuring it would make charging 26650’s and 26350’s easier. It works great, the only issue I have with it is that it charges the cells to 4.22V. Many people don’t mind this and some actually prefer it.
Personally I prefer my cells to be charged to between 4.16-4.20V max. It bugs me way more then it should yes but still, it bugs me.
I still have the box and all manuals/accessories for it, it is virtually new, I think it has fully charged maybe 6 cells, I just can’t bring myself to use it. I just end up doing them one at a time on the um10 or with my hobby charger.
So I am looking to sell this charger or trade it for basically any other charger that doesn’t charge past 4.20V. Even a 2 cell charger would be a fine trade as long as it can handle 2x 26mm cells.
If someone wants to buy it I am asking $20 shipped, or offer up a trade.
I would also consider a single cell analyzing charger as a trade as well although I would prefer a 2 bay.
