I’ve been looking for a thrower for a while. I almost pressed the ‘buy’ button for Nitecore P30 and Convoy C8, but just can not accept the busy looking. I want something looking simple and clean, not too many complex curves. Something like BLF X6 is almost perfect, but their QC is kinda hit and miss, otherwise I would have bought one.
For an example of clean looking light, check out Led Lenser P5.2 , it looks really good in hand and throws really well for its size and power (single AA). I like it a lot has become my 2nd most used light so far, the 1st is lumintop tool AAA.
By the way I have a LuckySun D80 on the way, just because it looks cleaner than others
What kind of lux values/size are you looking for? Thrunite’s TN42 is the most powerful (I think) production thrower, and personally I find the looks very basic and simple aka not busy looking… But are you looking specifically for a C8 size light?
i bought a couple of COAST lights? (led lenser’s under another name i think)
i rally like them? except… that lens, urp
i like seeing an emitter fully focused… if they made one with a “normal” lens? i would love them… then they make it almost impossible to take one apart to fix it, lol…

i mean, i buy a zoomie to SEE THINGS as far away as possible… to me its the whole point of it… and when i hold another lens in front of any of them? the emitter gets fully focused, and i can SEE things farther… which is a deal breaker for me.
