Interesting. I have some EBL 18650 cells (my dad bought some against my recommendation). It tested at 1940 mAh at 1A down to 2.7V (several reported capacity tests around the internet are generally consistent with around 2000mAh capacity). Around 70 mOhms IR. So maybe not terrible cells, but they’re not really worth it considering the unknown quality control and better available options, IMO.

^^^ What was the labeled capacity on those 2000mAh cells?

The EBL 18650s are labeled 3000mAh.

So not as bad a capacity exaggeration as some (e.g. 10000mAh) but certainly not good. OTOH, the EBL 600mAh 6F22 9V (2S) Li-ion batteries are true-capacity.

Maybe they exaggerate dimensions, and it’s actually only 18 mm in diameter… hehe. Wink
