UltraFire Batteries V2.0

Fire cells get a brand new look for 2017. Obviously, they are very aware of the market trend right now.

Ooh right to the color of the buttons, dang

At least the capacities are believable…

They really have no shame. You’ve got to give them that!

If i am new to flashlight, i might end up getting a pair based on its packaging and price. Hope UF is doing right thing this time.

Anyone interested to do a battery review for it?

Look at the oddly placed bump on the circumference on the can!

Something tells me they only filled them from there down!

These batteries look pretty and to an uninitiated person they look perfectly legit. The problem is that battery reviews mainly only tell you how the output performs. It doesn’t really give you good information about the internal construction of the battery. Batteries with internal Panasonic/Sanyo for example have had millions of research dollars poured into making the batteries reliable and safe. With these things, who even knows what is really inside.

The last thing you want is a cheap battery that might spontaneously have an internal short.

We need to get some to HKJ to test.

Good thing the holes on the side of the raised positive terminal are of a decent size.
Any smaller and it would be too hard to worm the standard length piece of wick into place.

Lumintop "style".

I wonder if these are from the real ultrafire company or the dozens of companies that rewrap used pulls or smaller cells and use their name. I wouldn’t use them. I’ve heard its hard to find real ultrafire cells amongst all the fake copies

I thought Ultrafire went bankrupt ages ago?

Far as I know they (original) ultrafire is still producing new lights. But I could be wrong about that

I don't think so.

These could be genuine UF cells. Interesting.

Is there a new sort of protection circuit, this time on the positive side? (If legit) the wrappers say protected but I can’t see the normal protection circuit on the negative pole. Curious if that would explain the ridge around the cell that Angler pointed out…

Wow that website and the prices lol They are highly priced Ultrafires. Has any one bought any thing from that website?
