Simon (Convoy) @ aliexpress

Simon (Convoy) has restored my faith in humanity. I had an order from xmas that went missing in transit. Simon reshipped both lights in record time, no stories, no bullshit.
Great service and excellent C8 lights, btw.
I’ll be buying from him again.
Yours happily.

Turkish.

The guy is awesome. Convoy is awesome. Convoy lights are awesome. You should definitely check out the L6 if you don’t have one yet. Smile

You’ll be happy to know this is his average level of customer care Cool Both the brand and the man behind it are easily the finest in the budget light market you’re bound to find.

Or at the very least a clear C8. Or an M1, or an S-series model (just be careful about the S2+, it has battery size concerns).

Yeah, I ordered an L6 driver from him and he threw in some clear L6 side switch covers for free because I asked if he sold them. Beer

My Convoy L6 thread with Texas Avenger FET driver, Narsil ramping firmware, lighted side switch and cut down SMO reflector. Lots of amp draws on stock driver as well.

I have three truly modern lights; all in Convoy hosts.  They are nice, and don't break the bank.

I got an L2 today that is simply awesome! I had intended to modify it, and I did, but now I’m gonna have to get another one because I really love it in stock form. Smile

Got my eye on a BD02 as well, got my hands on one of a friends and really liked it. Bumped output on it for my friend and it woke him up to how nice a light it really is. That one is probably next on my Convoy shopping list… or an M1, or maybe an M2, or that second L2, or ….

Go with the M1, one of my favorite overall lights

I myself can get behind this statement. The M1 has a well-focused spot without being throwy like the C8, and the spill has the proportions and brightness to be useful without making it very floody.

If you want a slightly more flood-oriented beam with wider spill, the M2 is a good pick.

That’s exactly how i wish the clear L6 would be. I really don’t like the ‘fake’ looking clear ano… but polished bare Al is awesome! Love

Yeah well, coulda, woulda, shoulda, BLF members had their chance, it was brought up in the early days of the L6 and then again in the clear ano L6 and Jared and Simon would have gotten it done, no problemo! Wink

But you know how that go’s! Something about, tarnishing, oxidation, polishing, salt/sea air, blah blah blah, ba ba blah!

I stuck to my GUNS! Wink

I don’t mind polishing once in awhile? In the winter?

That’s a Surefire 9P 3S 18350’s 3S triple, it blows emitters up like it is nothing, makes 3 Nichia’s or XP-L’s and XP-L2’s turn instantly BLUE in Turbo, had to run 3-Red Efest 16340’s to be able to run it! Can’t run the little Purple Efest 18350’s in it way too much current. Angry Got’s to be careful when you run a FETSIR800DD in series!!! Shocked

Back on topic, Simon offered me a substantial discount when I buy in bulk. I refused his kind offer, because, I know when I buy directly from him, he gives me the best he has to offer!

That’s why I like dealing directly with the Da Man!

Oh and sometimes you find extra goodies in your stuff for free!
