It’s time to slim the collection down, so I have some shelf queens for sale.
This is the famous BLF X5/X6 combo, #41 with box… Neutral tint (5A, around 4-4500K) model XPL Hi. Super heavy solid copper 14500 light and stainless copper 18650 light . Around 0.5-1200/1500 lumens using the awesome drivers with firmware from our very own Toykeeper (Bistro!).
The copper 14500 has some patina on the tail but none elsewhere. The tailcaps have the blue LED lights in them for locating when off. The 14500 model (X5) has the resistor increased by 10x on the tailcap LED. It’s still plenty bright but has much lower drain. Near mint. Tested only.
This is matched set #41 with box. The box is near mint shape! A rarity since they are fragile and often damaged in transit.

Biscotti is an adaptation TK made of Bistro used in this set (Biscotti uses less memory so Simon could use it for new Convoy AT13 drivers)
I am kind shocked that this is still around! I just picked up a set myself, could not afford them at time of release. These are awesome lights in aluminum, but this set is something to see in person! It was well worth the wait.
Thanks! Remember that the box is in near mint shape. I’ve also increased the resistance on the tailcap LED of the 14500 light so it will go longer before draining the battery.
Wow, I have a set of these… But this is a set of perfect or nearly perfect 100% BLF history. If you don’t care about that… they are wonderful lights at $45 each with copper or copper and stainless steel. I would not have thought that these would still be here….
The X5 is a much better light than the new Astrolux 14500 light, in my opinion and it looks great.
I also hardly ever use them. And if I do, I’ll take the X5. The SS X6 feels like the hammer of Thor.
When I put that one in my pocket I walk like the the hunchback of Notre Dame. But they are seriously good looking lights!

I’m glad you got them sold, I was starting to think I needed #41 to go with my #42.
Plus your box was much nicer than mine, my box has dents in 5 out of 8 corners.
