Hi Trysting, welcome to BLF. Lightbringer goes for the sweet spot. If this is going to be your first flashlight, or “Whaddya gonna do with it?”. My old math teacher always said that when you formulate your question well, you already have half the answer. Is it just for you, or for general use. Are you going for the WOW, or do you want it to be ready, willing and able at all times. Look around a bit, and when you have made a short-list, start reading the reviews. Including on other forums. And when you have made your choice, there are a few people around that can offer you a good deal on it.
Don’t hurry. You’ve got about two years before Auntie May is closing the gate on you. And on us.
