I’m out, too many new lights and this one will not do anything bigger/better than all the others that are in house, so no go.
Thanks,

Keith

This is the great BLF, and we twist every thread sideways and have 25 experts chime in on the manufacturing of a reflector, about the proper “Perfect Tint” needed to cut through 78% humidity in the Alps,
about the inefficiencies of a Buck/Boost driver when driven at 9.3 volts.

Or about the best shipping solutions to east/slight west aberdeen.

Or my favorite, Copyright laws.
Why ever hire a Lawyer when all the free, expert advice is right here on the internet.

And always remember to Beware of the Great Grifter

I haven’t seen any other new lights in this configuration. Just the same old S70s and L6. They are great lights, but they need modding to bump up their output.

My Convoy L6 thread with XHP70.2, Texas Avenger FET driver, Narsil v1.2 ramping firmware, lighted side switch and cut down SMO reflector. Lots of amp draws on stock driver as well.

My Supfire L5-S thread with XHP70, Texas Avenger FET driver, NarsilM v1.0 ramping firmware and lighted side switch. My mini L6! http://budgetlightforum.com/node/55746

I still think this is a unique combination of good throw with high lumen output. I really hope it still gets off the ground. They’re almost there, so it shouldn’t take much. Here’s hoping…

It’s definitely a good looking light, with some great potential. My guess is they made the prototypes, but didn’t get enough people to sign up for a full production run. As much as I dislike waiting endlessly for these group buys to materialize, the more arduous the process is, it seems like the more people sign up.

I’m still interested, but I don’t blame people for backing out. Who knows when you’ll need to pay for your light? Next week, next month, next year? The lack of communication (I think) is making everyone’s wallets a little nervous as to when they’ll need to pay.

From the last update it seems like the driver was the issue for the delay. I’m sure many of us are willing to buy a host version if they were available. I know I would buy one.

I’m still in but as has been previously said above, there is a serious lack of communication.

Let it shine, let it shine.

Team Kronos has not logged in in over two months, think it is pretty safe to say this project is dead.
