Need help shipping a small bottle of perfume

As per title, I need help from an American resident to ship a 10ml bottle of perfume to Singapore. Any and all help is appreciated!

Declare the stuff as “glass & plastic bottles”. ;-)

Cheers

Thing is, my forward shipper cant do that. I have to ship it back to a US resident to help me ship to back to SG

No one?

That is confusing, perhaps you should detail just what you want done. This day and age of illegal drugs, explosives and other crazy things may explain some of the reluctance if receiving from an unknown and trans-shipping is involved.

Apologies. The forward shipper is based in the US. They have my perfume in their warehouse but cannot ship it to my location. I need someone who is able to help me ship the item to me. I will have the perfume mailed to your residence.

People may be hesitating as there are restrictions on shipping perfume within or from the U.S. Cut and pasted from the U.S. Post Office site:

Perfume containing alcohol may not be shipped internationally or mailed domestically using air transportation. Perfume containing alcohol, however, may be shipped within the United States by ground transportation.

What i’ve got is the concentrated perfume oil which does not contain any alcohol. That cant be shipped too?

The limitations get crazy. Even perfume oils without alcohol can be combustible. One article I ran across had info on flashpoints. I did not try to find the actual rules the article mentions in passing. Other info I saw in forums make it appear that a lot of perfumes and perfume products get shipped because the senders lie about the contents.

EDIT… had trouble making masked link work… try this USPS Fragrance Oil Shipping Label Requirements | Small Business - Chron.com

Link isnt working :/. But is 10ml worth of oil a major risk?

Redid the link USPS Fragrance Oil Shipping Label Requirements | Small Business - Chron.com

The quantity does not sound risky, but like I said I never tried to find the actual rule statement. There could be certain amounts deemed okay, and maybe not.

It seems the key may be the flashpoint. Can the supplier confirm the oils flashpoint in writing?

Hmm thank you for the information… The vendor wont k ow as the vendor dont test their decanters. But I have bought similar products and they arent easy to ignite…

I’ll do it for you, if you pay what it cost to ship it. Hell half of what comes from aliexpress, bangood, gearbest, fastech etc to america and Europe is mislabeled. I’m not worried about a little perfume not like your asking to mail cocaine or something

Thank god! I’ll PM you!

Lol no problem sbed me a pm getting ready for bed so might be tomorrow before I reply. Took a sleeping pill already

People sell lithium batteries on here to each other second hand not labeled correctly etc. I think only a cell phone I’ve seen correctly labeled lithium batteries. That’s probably more dangerous then a bottle of perfume that would just evaporate

Have a good rest! Reply when you can

Unless it’s hidden in a prosthetic leg!

Кокаинум!

Wonder if it has to be labelled as “perfume” instead of “artificial scent (no alcohol)” that wouldn’t jingle as many alarm bells.

How about labeling it ‘glass bottle’ instead? Lol
