Hey guys,
I’ve got a TN4A that I’ve been wanting to mod for a while. I want to run it 4S 14500. I’ve seen that kenjii on here has done it but search as I may I can’t find a how to.
Anyone here able to point me in the right direction or tell me what I need to do?

A TN4A HI battery carrier is already set up in 4S…a TN4A battery carrier may be the same.
Yes it is but I don’t know what parts of the driver to swap/bypass in order for it to handle 16v.
Hi,
the light is pretty easy to disassemble. I just modified the battery carrier with some additional copper traces, put a LD2 4S 2,5A inside and swapped the LED. This mod is pretty easy.

I modified a TN4A HI but I converted the carrier to 4P, pulled the stock driver out, and had a driver contact board made at Oshpark. I used a 17mm fet driver piggy backed to the contact board. In your case, you’ll have to either strip the original driver to use it as a contact board and piggy back a buck driver or use this contact board and piggy back a buck driver to it.
