CONCEPT 1

Extremely compact 1x18650 palm-sized flashlight with 1800 lumens.
Beam distance up to 220 meters.
Magnetic tailcap design.

Nice to see everything integrated including charging and that they use temperature monitoring and feedback to allow this output in such a small light (like Olight as the first manufacturer I think did with the X7 Marauder)!
I’m not too fond of the design, could be more catchy.

Yea i seen this yesterday i think there is only 80 for sale or at least pre order you have to buy straight from Nitecore?

The size vs output is really good but they could get this power from a XHP-50 easier? Its a great concept its good to see super powerful and small lights coming to market.

Hmm they say 30 minutes on turbo in this small light with a 1800lumen XHP35? Really?

The clip orientation and switch are less than impressive, in my humble opinion.

I use this exact configuration with all my Olight side switch flashlights.
For a right handle person, it’s really practical, because the clip isn’t in your palm but right between your thumb and other fingers.
However, a lefty would be annoyed as the clip will be right in his palm.

However, I’m really curious about this switch because I don’t understand how it works

I like the design, but….Have low voltage protection?, the light will be used with IMR for optimal perfomance, and I found some Nitecores without low voltage protection…Can you confirm this feature in this model?

As they use a boost driver this light really needs LVP and I bet it has it, or this would be a battery killer

the side switch looks to be easy to be pressed unwanted carrying the light in pocket or backpack

I hope the E2 flux bin is there because its a NW LED

Where did you read that it has charging?

Now you ask, I have been fooled by their marketing language :confounded: , it says “integrated power circuit”, which I interpreted as charging circuit but I guess instead it means nothing at all, it is just language :weary:

It would have been neat though…

I was trying to figure that out myself  Thought maybe under the switch or something.

Quite a sleek light, I like it, but that clip… and that switch… What’s with the visible star screw right there :person_facepalming:
I guess I would have to mod it

It’s just concept, right

they dont invest time to build a XHP35 light and then dont sell it

We wil likely see more good XHP35/50 lights from the big brands

I follow Nitecore on Facebook and they used this link for the sale.

Apparently 26 left from this link? It looks to be official Nitecore store?

Maybe this is just a pre-run and they will sell more later.

Well… actually the “good old” EC2 is 10mm shorter than this with 9200 cd.

I caught that too. There is an asterisk next to it and it says that the runtimes are “theoretical”. :person_facepalming:

theoretical means in ice water like 20 mins then ramp down to 10% last 10 mins

“Theoretical arithmetic”… WTH is that supposed to mean? You take the battery capacity and divide by tail cap amps? Can’t they just do a runtime test? This light has impressive specs in a tiny package, but i hate it when manufacturers put up numbers out of the blue like that. Same thing with the “300h runtime”… you have to read through to understand it is at 1 lumen.

BTW: we need a BLF boost driver to deal with all those 6V and 12V emitters… I’d love to see a XHP50 inside a BLF A6 for $30.

This item has an irresistible size/power ratio in its size classification. Most power for size. For me, that alone is a show starter.

I can always run any light at medium mode for medium heat generation and medium run time. How exciting can that be? I am getting more and more excited about this item, just as I am typing this post.

Per NITECORE Concept 1 1800 Lumen EDC Flashlight lists this at a pre-order price of $64.95 (same as the P30). I don’t have any experience ordering from this site though. They are the authorized US distro. Hope this helps! I am curious about this light as well, hope to see a video review soon.
