What is the Nichia 219B of the through-hole LED world?

When I search for high cri through hole light emitting diode, a company called Yuji International pops up.

Does Nichia make high CRI through hold leds or is Yuji the equivalent of Nichia when it comes to 5mm, etc through hole LEDs?

While I can’t answer your question about “through hole” Nichia’s, I have some of the Yuji 5mm leds and can say that the output from them are very nice! very high CRI.

Yes, they come in 3200K and 5600K and the beam profile and output is surprisingly good. $16 for 100 pieces but terribly high shipping costs.

5600K are listed as unavailable or I would probably get some of these! I am refitting some old night lights and would love some nice high CRI emitters. I want warm white, and some 5730 stuff too, but I want to put it all on one order due to shipping costs

these are decent and cheap.
leds
5000-5500k
good color rendering.and hold up well.

I wish I’d bought some when I asked this question. The LEDs now only come in a 1,000 piece pack for USD$130. :frowning:

RA 75 is really bad, better get some >90 if you want compareable to Nichia 219C ones

I meant I wish I’d bought some Yuji LEDs which are “above 95” CRI. Aside from the USD$130 price tag, I’d be hard pressed to use 1,000 of the buggers.
