nice

Does anyone know if this tube is compatible with our BLF A6? BLF A6 in 18500 sounds nice.

This tube is NOT compatible with the BLF A6. The theads are different.

However it IS compatible with the Convoy S2+.

Tis true. No point though. Just get a convoy tube. I had a blf a6. Even the 4 blf a6 tubes I got didn’t fit.

I’m having problems with Aliexpress. Every time I go there it’s in French. Most times there isn’t even an option to switch language.

The few times I was able to find a dropdown menu with other languages English wasn’t an option.

HEEELP…. how do I find the English version?

Yup got if figured out and saw English.

Unfortunately, when it went to process my payment it said their server was busy and didn’t process. Not sure whether it went through or not.

I saw someone say they could get a 18650 into a 18500 tube. I might get one for the future just to have.

Not for an e2l. For a modded convoy s2+.

Yup.

The Convoy S2+ uses a pill. There are lots of ways to shorten a pill to open up extra space inside the tube for more battery.

In contrast the E2L uses a pill-less one-piece head. This gives better heatsinking to the outside of the light, but the downside is there’s no pill to shorten. The gap between the driver and the back of the star in the E2L is fairly large, but it can’t be easily bored out to open space in the battery compartment because the head dips inwards at the heatsink fins. I suppose you might do it with a small driver. Maybe a 15mm fet driver, but then you won’t be able to use the driver retaining ring so will have to figure out some other method to get negative ground connection to the driver.

You don’t take Paypal?!

Yeah, it’s terrible, they mix up the Astrolux S1 and BLF A6 tubes all the time… :person_facepalming:
