That looks bad. I received mine last week. It works but i’m also not satisfied. Contacts on the driver show signs of use or corrosion. Dents on the body, o-ring broken when first unscrewed… 
maybe because of bad soldering
My MT01 CW also has a problem not with emitter but with switch button ,there a crack on it and look very old .
This really doesn’t look good
About today mine should finally arrive, and I hope not all delivered lights are faulty.

Can you return it?
It could be faulty LED, MCPCB, or improper reflow. AFAIK, XHP50 has 6/12 volt configuration by the solder pads design.

Just reflow and tested, 2 dies are damaged for sure.
MCPCB is 6V version.
Stock star is copper MCPCB but not DTP.

This is pretty much how they started.
There first run here was a joke, blf group buy got all the reject lights. And people who bought from bangood got perfect working lights. And it took months and months for it to be sorted out.
Chops is still waiting for replacement drivers. Maybe blf should stick together again and boycott until people from the last group buy are all sorted out and the issues that will be from this one.
The negative to me doesn’t look like its soldered to well. Like its not soldered down on the pad enough
I reflowed to noctigon and tested , and reflowed to stock MCPCB.
checked and tested everything, still 2 dies damaged.

So, you should contact where u bought and ask for refund

I got mine also from the M4D M4X banggood deal, no problems here thankfully. I didn’t really look at the lanyard hook since I don’t use it, but I will check when I get home.
Hmmm, this is definitely not good. I’ve seen lack of QC like this destroyed years of good reputation of a once highly praised manufacturer within weeks. A simple turning on/off and test all the modes ONCE before packing could have saved all of this unnecessary dramas.
