The 18650 tube has never been included with any offer on the S41/S42 that I have seen.
The S1/BLF A6 has been offered as a set before.
And I believe that the tube for them is compatible with this S42.
I am tempted at this price…butt I preordered and w/points at BG it was $29
I could cancel it, butt I have never ordered anything from this vendor
and they do not accept Paypal
I could order an additional one in a diff emitter, butt I want to try that side switch before committing
and then there is the SS version coming W/copper head
and the manker E14 ll which obviates the need for a 18650 tube

One nice thing about this light is that it looks like the head is aluminum, while the Manker E14II is copper.
Aluminum won’t heat up quite as fast, which hopefully means the outside of the head won’t get burning hot in quite such a short period of time.
Also the entire light should weigh much less making it better for EDC pocket carry.

Yea when I was buying it, I remember seeing that there were 900+ units left.
They may have gotten into trouble for undercutting the group buy pre-order price.
Since it’s also not available for purchase on Banggood, I figure they just ran out of stock everywhere.
