Convoy L6 Case, bag or Pouch?

Does anyone use a case, pouch or bag to protect their L6? If so what? I’m not talking about a holster, more of a protective case or bag or something.

I know it can be an inconvenience but I like my lights to be in pristine condition and for some reason the L6 anodising doesn’t seem to look that robust, it looks like it could easily scratch off, I could be wrong but it just looks that way to me.

Is it that chalky rough gray finish like on the L2?

I just wrap mine in bubblewrap and put it back in the box when I’m not using it. Same like most of my lights and hosts when I’m not using them.

Dunno if it’d fit, but those small “saddlebags” that you attach with 2 straps to the rear of a bike-seat, that might fit.

Hmm, was looking for a pic. All the new ones out there seem “fitted”, almost like camera-bags. Mine’s just a tubular nylon bag with stiff curved-sheet nylon insert to keep it roughly tubular, with a zipper along the length.

Was thinking something like that, if long enough. (Or if not, remove the extension tube and store it next to the light vs attached.)

Yes, it’s a chalky like finish, completely matte. Somehow it doesn’t look that tough, I might be wrong though.

I put mine in this. This is the bag that my Maxtoch M12 XHP70 came in. I don’t use my L6 anymore so I put it in the bag from the light that replaced it.

No worries mate. It’s a nice case. It holds it shape really good.

That’s nice mate! How tightly does the s70s fit in it?
The description says its 25cm long and S70S is a tiny bit longer than that

Would these fit the L6? I think the L6 is a bit longer than the s70s.

I think I had something similar to what your describing, I’ve been looking around the house for it, but of course I can’t find it.

Same for me, although I did get the price down to £3.92 (€4.45) + express shipping using my daily reward points
