Eastshine S2 Charger?

Does anyone own and have evaluated the Eastshine S2 charger? Right now it is $10 on Amazon US (see the SlickDeals post for the coupon code) but I cannot find any technical reviews on it. For the price, it would be a good travel charger since it shows voltage. But using an unknown charger is always questionable.

Looks an awful lot like a re-badged and tweaked Lii-202.

Ditto. Saw it, first thing I thought.

LK202 6-8bux, unknown almost 20. Hmmm…

Even for 10, dunno if I’d go that route.

I have two of them and for the money I think they are a good value. Thrunite sells the same charger rebranded for at lot more money it’s the MCC-2S, it’s 20+ dollars last I checked. If you are limited to two power levels .5A and 1A are the ones you want IMHO and that’s what you get with this charger.

There is no wall wart or brick, a figure 8 AC cord plugs directly into the charger. I use mine for traveling.

It charges LiIon and LiFe but will only charge LiIo4.35 to 4.2V.

It’s just a basic constant current charger so it won’t top off your LiIon batteries like a CC/CV charger would or NiMH like a delta peak charger would.

If one of mine broke tomorrow I would buy another.

Slickdeals has the Lii-202 for $4. Have to deal with Gearbest and long shipping, but it’s a known quantity.OTOT
H, it’s only $10. Be a beta tester.

From the looks of it, it could be a rebrand of either of these two…

Interestingly enough, the above chargers support Li-Ion 4.35v charging, but the Eastshine S2 does not mention such capability.

Anyways, seems like a decent charger with good CC/CV charging if it is indeed based on one of those two models.
