Might have to get one. Thanks for the link John

Good find , SirJohn

Ughh.. I think I asked about that in your review thread but you probably didn't know or see my post :P I was wondering why they list run times for the different emitters but no info on them being available. Thanks for the heads up!!!

I already have the XP-E version on the way but I'll probably go ahead and get this one as well, assuming I'm happy with the build quality and design. I also asked Ric the other day but he didn't have a clue. I have yet to get a response from Balder. I didn't know Tactical HID was selling drop-shipping Balder.

Looks like my yet to be received SE-1 XP-E could be destined for Christmas gifting

Wow.... good price. So now it will go head to head with the Xeno E03. Wonder how's the drive levels.

The SE-1 XP-E, does it have somewhat visible PWM?

Good find, might have to get both.

Yes PWM is somewhat visible depending on what you are using it for. Coolperl tested it at about 300hz. The good news is that the modes work fully on 14500 unlike the Xeno. You actually still get a real low. From what I understand, they use the same driver and just change the emitter out, so while it is overdriven greatly for an XP-E, for a 1xaa size light, it is right about where you want it for an XM-L. Check out the reviews for the XP-E model and the drive currents should be about the same for the XM-L model.

Yeah, XM-L should be perfect since the XP-E seems to be over driven. If I end up getting the XM-L I'm curious to compare the throw vs flood between the two. Maybe both will deserve to be kept.

It’s a drop-shipping deal from one of the usual suspects for Tactical HID, not CONUS. Ordered the XP-E and XM-L, upon checkout you are advised that shipping from HK is 1-3 weeks. What are you going to do, it is what it is?
