I just bought another SK68 clone, this one with a T6 claimed cree for $2 shipped. Where is the cheap good smaller light like it in a AAA size?
I’m saying this sitting at my desk playing with one of the old “Police 3w” small AA lights that requires a loosen and tighten of both ends to make much of any light (but is “OK” for a bit once that is done).
You mean, like an actual sk68 style light in AAA size? Or just the cheapness and ubiquitous availability of the sk68? Do you need/want it to be a zoomie?
Just the cheap and good parts, the style I would prefer is basic no frills, on/off etc. maybe a twilight.
Singfire SF-348 is a nice cheap but good AAA light. Four consecutive group buys have been completed here for the BLF version, and still people are looking for more! Sadly, there are no more BLF-348, unless - the - does a 5th group buy! But, the original SF-348 is still available.
EDIT: Oh, actually, I don’t know if this is a fluke or glitch, but the BLF 348 with Gift box is still showing in stock for about $12 here. Quite a bit pricier than the group buy price, and also a lot pricier than the original, which is still for sale. But, ya know, Full Disclosure and stuff. 
My EDC is an Olight i3s which I’ve seen lately on ebay for $16 shipped, and its a wonderful light, close to the limit in output with a 10440 tiny light. Cheap is more like $5 shipped.
