They claim half an hour on max?
How?
I love soda can lights and I think this looks very nice.
But it is so small
Half an hour on 12000lumens and 4 hours on 5100 lumen just seems impossible, our bigger Q8 with deeper and more cooling fins should be able to sustain 2K till cells run out sonwhat are the real times, how many minutes (seconds) before it steps down and to what level will it step down (my guess is 1500-2200 lumens)

When did they have confidence? The way I remember, the A6 was their first light, and that had quality issues. Which of their lights is without problems? I’d buy that.

The low mode should be lower.

UI is simpler and different from S42.

Sill looks pretty stupid. You have this monster, and can't simply hit full power in one action? Instead you have to cycle through all the weaker modes first.

And who ever needs quick access to blinkies anyway?

And 'long click to turn off' never made sense.

This is tempting indeed… but after the S42 debacle i will wait for at least one honest review.
Just looking at the UI diagram makes me wonder… Long press to off, long press to lock, long press to unlock… I’m already tired of this light!

XANES-KT-01 keychain light was the first to adopt this side switch with dragon breath and battery status indicator. However it has a "M" logo instead of "ON/OFF" symbol.

The silicon cover of MF-01 switch is much similar to ASTROLUX S42 but it does not protrude out as much.

Put me down for one.
Price would be a factor though. When will the deal details be shared?
Thanks!

I will feedback to them on the UI. Hopefully they are willing to make changes (such as instant ON/ OFF, direct TURBO and mode spacing)

Why not get in touch with ToyKeeper, who I’m sure can make a fabulous F/W for the light.

As a side note, it has become very common on ecigs to lock/unlock the device with a fast serie of five clicks. Although it may seem cumbersome on paper it has proven quite fast and efficient. However, it takes a friendly switch – on some lights the side switch is too stiff for such a fast click action.

Long press to unlock is just plain anyway. Facepalm

Possibly, then you could clip it to your hat for hands free operation. Wink
