Narsil M Cheat Sheet

Hello everyone,

I tried to shoehorn Tom E’s Narsil manual in a table.
It’s called Narsil M Cheat Sheet and you can download the PDF from this Google Drive page.

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B0v3MZNiBWcDQmpwRjRyRFp5SFk

the short link is:
http://bit.ly/narsil-cs

Feedback is appriciated. Is it easy to understand? Anything unclear? Opinions?

Please check for errors, I don’t have a lamp running Narsil, so I couldn’t test it and Tom is quite busy.

I won’t explain the cheat sheet in this post, because I want to know from you if it’s self explaining.

When most of it is fine I can post this in the Q8 thread. Done

Thanks
Joechina

EDIT:

  • The version *Narsil M Cheat Sheet 2017-07-20 *
is the version sent to thorfire
  • I made a new version *Narsil M Cheat Sheet 2017-07-19 *
The edits are only on the first page
    - with corrected links
    - and added how to switch off the indicator light.
The sheet is on the same Google folder, but it has now a bit.ly link

Wow very nice Joe!
Let’s ask Thorfire to print this at 95% landscape and put it in the box for it has links to the important BLF posts and threads and a clear overview
Awesome, thanks so much!

Nice, thanks!
Got it working, it took changing the printer setting to A4 (it appeared to be in USletter for some reason) and then front and back aligned almost perfectly. Smile I will store it in the Q8.

Note to self: always bring your reading glasses when using the Q8 Smile

@djozz
Whoo, looking good.

I don’t why you had letter format, mine is everything in A4.

I don’t know if it fits, maybe you need verry thin paper.

Thickness of the stack that I made is 1.6 mm. I will have a look at home tonight how well it fits, but it feels thin enough Smile

Thickness of the pack is 1.6mm, the space in the rear of the Q8 proto3 is 2.2 mm. So it fits! Smile :

Thanks djozz for the video and testing!

I guess that’s a unique feature for a flashlight Smile

I can’t check any info contained on the cheat sheet, but nicely done on the actual cheat sheet!

Man i wished it could happen, imagine a BLF gathering but i am living too far away. How many lumens in total if we switch on all the lights we have at the gathering

Probably a lot! I EDC probably 4k lumens. But for special occasions I bring bigger lights.

Whew. This could be a new competitive maze-type game.

Starting off at one setting — find the minimum number of clicks to end up at a different setting.
