Hello, I’m trying to repair my flashlight’s driver, I have dissassembled it and looks like one piece is burned
You can see it in this picture
My question is. What name is called that part? Can I buy one and replace it? I can read “X1EX 1Z” but I don’t find anything typing that in google
Could someone help me? It’s an Olight driver and it’s worthy trying to repair it.
Olight sent me a new flashlight in warranty but as every BLF member I’ll do everything I can to fix the old one.

from package it could be a transistor, FET or an IC voltage regulator ect.
how to replace the driver with a Narsil driver or so?
often the charging circuit is separate and can be salvaged

it doesn’t have any charging circuit, it’s an S1A, driver is 16mm and has an integrated electronic switch… can’t that part be replaced?

flashlight Works, but erratic. when I press the button it makes a quick flash, and I can’t turn it off, a short click shoud do it but it keeps changing between moonlight and turbo when I press the button.

Can you give a clearer picture - preferably of the whole driver? If so, somebody might be able to guess what it is by looking at how the traces are run.

you need to figure out why it blew instead of just replacing - unless you want to do it again…
