Transparent plastic washer

I’m planing to make some lighted tailcap mods for my lights, but can’t find transparent washers to fit.
I found white ones but not enough light go through.

Can anyone help me find some M8x17x2mm or M8x16x2mm?
M8 means internal diameter about 8,4mm

Maybe someone will have your answer, but what I have been using is CD covers, or Cassette tape covers. I just use a hole saw in my drill, and ream out the center with my dremel.

Good advice, thank you.

I hope to find them somewhere, but if not I will have to make them somehow.

I use these. They are translucent nylon rings, not transparant.
Because they are not made of metal, they don’t comply to the usual industrial standard-sizes.
This one is 8.4 x 23.9 x 2.2 mm. The inner diameter is about OK.
I address the outer diameter with a bench-grinder.

You get enough light from them?
I tryed white plastic like your picture and was not really happy with it.
But I guess I could find that easier than transparent.

It is not white plastic. It is translucent nylon. It also acts as a diffuser.
Compare it to milk plus a lot of water, not pure milk.

I get it now. Sorry for confusion.

Hey mate I bought some from eBay they are called nylon washers and aliexpress has them also. Some I bought where 1mm thick so I doubled them up.

I have gone out of my way searching for some Clear plastic washers and finally found some that were close enough to use.
I was disappointed to find the translucent nylon were actually better at diffusing the tiny LEDs without loss of brightness.

Just get the readily available nylon.

Close?

Found them (1mm thick), will order them

Thank you for info, nylon it is

Not really. Internal diameter should be a lot smaller.
