I have been re-reading all of the reviews and still have one question… I could have sworn that I read that the driver in this one is now 19mm or 20mm, can someone confirm this?
I have a Thorfire C8s. Don’t know when I exactly bought it but IMHO it is the latest version
This one has the new tailcap. The driver is 17mm. Swappable with Convoy C8, Thorfire VG-10, and Jaxman M8.
Mine measures 19mm at the widest, 18mm across the flats.
I received two from this seller on Aliexpress, one late March and one mid April both had a 19.6 mm driver.
I definitely bought my C8s somewhere in 2016, perhaps that’s what makes the difference.
Looked again, here and there, and came up with this. Maybe “this” helps a bit?
EDIT: looks the one I own is a bit older than I thought: I received it april 7th 2016.
It says C8S on the tube, has the new tailcap, the matte black anodising, and a 17mm driver.
This is the driver in both my Thorfire C8s, I purchased in November. The driver pocket is as khas said 19.6mm
My is 19.6mm, I bought my march 30 2017.
