For $10.99 it’s a no brainer. It’s $19.90 on their website. So Illumn’s ebay store is the way to go. BTW, I’m loving the Moon. The UI isn’t the best, but it’s easy to get used to.
I’m a Electrician by Trade and I can clip it to my pocket which is perfect if you are working on a panel.
Also great for the power outages like we had when I was at my Daughters in Memphis because you can lie it flat on a table to light up a room.
Or would it be Rude to say to use it in the Crapper……………
I’m a retired printing press electrician. I worked for a company that made offset web presses for 30 years. I did all the wiring and trouble shooting for them. To be honest, I don’t miss it one bit. It was hard work.
The reason I started this thread is I support American businesses like Illumn, Mountain Elecrtonics, Going Gear, LiIonWholesale, etc.
I have a special place in my heart for Illumn because they went way out of their way to exchange a defective flashlight 6 months after I purchased it. Craig and Calvin are great guys to deal with. They seem to keeping a low profile these days. I hope they’re doing well. I figured I’d give them a shout out and let them know I’ll still support them any way I can. Maybe some of you guys can do the same.
I haven't been around here mostly because it's just chinese group buys going on. When I used to try and run groupbuys we never really got much interest. Thanks for still thinking about us.
Calvin, thanks for checking in. I’ve gotten some of the best deals from you. Better that any Chinese seller. Plus your shipping speed is second to none. From California to Long Island, NY, 3 days at most. Even if your prices were higher, I’d still buy from you because customer service is A number one to me.
Heidelberg sheet fed presses are the Cadillac’s of printing presses. Never worked on one, but I’ve seen many. Worked on offeset presses up to 8 colors though. Mostly Didde Glaser style presses
The stuff I did was basically old school too. Mostly relay logic. The only electronics was the DC motor controllers, the roll stand tension controller, and other minor electronics. I could fix 100% of the problems we had.
I found this old not so great picture of a panel I wired. Speaking of relays.
I did a lot of work for a Greenhouse and had to big some control panels for heat, vents, watering so they all could be computer controlled.
I was busy with them for 25 years.
Lots of Greenhouses on the Island.
FYI: my Son raced Karts and we would race at Westhampton at least once a year.
The track was at the end of the Drag Strip, all Condo’s now.
Thanks man. Appreciate it. I wish I had more pictures of my work from that job, but I don’t. Did you work on Long Island at all? BTW, I was born in Brooklyn in 1952, moved to LOng Island whe I was 3. Lived here ever since.
