Worth a go?

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ultra-Mini-2000-lumens-CREE-XM-L-T6-LED-3-Mode-Keychain-Flashlight-Torch-Light-/332025286426?epid=2026055767&hash=item4d4e3fcf1a%3Ag%3ABcIAAOSw44BYH-kz&\_trkparms=pageci%253A09e36491-90e4-11e7-b12d-74dbd1804998%257Cparentrq%253A495e5ef415e0ab6471139611fff7510a%257Ciid%253A16

What is everyone’s thoughts on this one, obviously 2000 lumens is obserd. But I might get one to put on the keys….

Got one in black, or well somewhere, harsh blue tint, cheapie construction that just doenst feel right, only put a cell in it once

Thanks Miller, any better ideas for a very cheap cr123 light?

Got one - the build is decent, heat transfer is… well… there… a bit :stuck_out_tongue:
I put a 5000K XP-G3 in it and use it as it is now (18mm driver… so hard to find a replacement)

those are ok
they are bright so use the tiny 16340 pretty fast
no modes
mine has a decent neutral white color
but i got it 2 years ago
it is the smallest 16340 light possible

not 2000 lumens
400 maybe
decently bright
i like mine

wait
this is different
it does have modes
led may differ as well

wle

that aliexpress one, it is ok
i have it
its main drawback is the tight beam
not really useful up close
high isn;t that much different from low at least w cr123a bats

good for the price
coolish white, no weird purple or blue

wle

How about this?

A while ago I guess someone posted something about this light or this brand here in the forum (JAXMNVE). Take look
No so cheap as the Sofirn one, but also cheap, I guess! :+1:

Is AliExpress a decent place to buy from?

So far I hadn’t lots of problems with buying there, and I shop a lot in AliExpress.
One thing you need to know is the material and the specs of what you want to buy! From then on, see the reviews, search for those products in other platforms to check the prices (Ebay, Amazon, Gearbest, Banggood) and try to search for reviews here or in other forums, or in the youtube!
It may help you to decide to buy ir not!

The buying is safe (it has been for me, so far), the sellers normally answer your questions, and the great part of the products have good quality! I will depend on what you buy
The only thing is that it takes a lot of time to receive things (more than 20 days, up to 60 in extreme conditions).
Other than that, my experience has been more positive than negative! An you find awesome products at good prices

when I bought the light in the OP it was for an extra 16340 cell I had

also ordered this one:

also not nice tint, but better feel, it hangs on the key inside a lock, with a olight 123 cell non rechargeable . Use it more often then expected, feels ok, should swap led and have a pretty nice light for little money

this looks pretty nice, clip it on a cap and go.
warm white option
a clone of the small On The Road, that is a clone of Olight
if quality is good, very interesting.

Well, I thought that too and I just didn’t buy it yet because I don’t have 1634o cells, nor ®CR123!
But I guess the specs are really cool and this is way more cheap than the OTR M3 and the Olights!
I may get one of these and if I do I’ll let people know about the quality

how about this one?
NICRON 3W
it came with a battery too

interesting but twisty switch—annoying

the ultraviolet version is intriguing for the price

Think the K03 has a 17mm driver.

Jetbeam Jet II.

Oh yeah, wait for a flash sale or coupon code. Great quality light. Don’t waste your time on throwaway lights.

watch for twisty switches on very small lights
it is a way to make it shorter- eliminating the button part at the end
a better way is to have a side button
jetbeam II is twisty
just saying
maybe you like twisty

oddly enough i think it is more reliable- wait, sorry i meant ‘durable’

(i have just had a lumintop tool go bad due to a leaky battery.

the button switch in the end has about 8 parts, all different metals,

steel touches aluminum, touches steel again, cannot disassemble to clean

apparently alkaline crud got in there and corroded probably the aluminum parts—

ANNOYING
before this i thought what a great tiny light
now it is just something else i had to waste 2 hours on
it is still intermittent
twisty switches don;t do that-plus they make a smaller light

argh
)

i approve of aliexpress
ordered maybe 20 things from them
cheap
and they always arrive
no slower than any other china shipping

wle

Well ordered that small USB charging thingy
TK wants a BLF special like that so having an Olight, On The Road i3 (I still not understand why the M3 gets the attention while the i3 is much more versatile with its zoom) do this one at ~$13 can stand next to it while contemplating if a special is fun to do

AliExpress heck yeah I love it, one of my first threads was about it, I was (and still am) so positive about it people wanted to mark it spam

Twisties don’t accidentally turn on in your pocket!
