【 ACTIVE 】 NITECORE DL10 ✺ Dual-light source DIVING light

NITECORE DL10

A dual-light source diving light specially designed for underwater sport.

The DL10 is a dual-light source diving light specially designed for underwater sport, which is IPX8 waterproof and 30 meters submersible with a maximum output of 1000 lumens. Double O rings and deepened threads designed for all-rounded waterproofness, making the DL10 an ideal flashlight for scuba diving.

The DL10 utilizes a CREE XP-L HI V3 LED, integrated Crystal Coating Technology combined with “Precision Digital Optics Technology” for extreme reflector performance. It emits beam intensity up to 12,400cd and beam distance up to 223 meters. Red auxiliary light also serves as a supplement light to reveal the natural color and details of objects.

Lightweight and compact, the DL10 is constructed from aero grade aluminum alloy with HAIII military grade hard-anodized finish, which can prevent seawater corrosion effectively and protect the core component of the flashlight. Built-in threads for connecting the scuba diving pointer.

With Advanced Temperature Regulation module, the DL10 regulates its output and adapts to the ambient environment, so as to maintain optimal performance.

Multiple accessories are included in the package, such as a scuba diving pointer, a diving lanyard and 5 spare O rings.

I am interested, but keep in mind that this isn’t rated for the full range of recreational diving limits (120 to 132 feet.)

Maybe they just didn't have time to test for 100 m.  cool

But I'll have enough of this - I don't go deeper than 35 m (115 ft)

Interested….IF it’s a DIVE light and not a dive light wanna be. Too many of these lights are sorta waterproof, and sorta rugged. In diving RELIABLE and WATERPROOF is the #1 priority.

Do we know the WHITE beam angle? The red is obviously a mulit-emitter flood for video/focus.
Are the switches magnetic? More importantly, is the switch material STAINLESS of high quality? I just took apart a Solarstorm D02 switch and the spring and magnet were rusted to garbage. Not acceptable in a dive light.
Checked the Nitecore web page, probe is removable.

Did some checking. eBay price seems to be $90, available now. CPF has a 15% off coupon via Nitecore store.

Cannot find any actual dive reviews. Lots of flashaholics, not so many real divers. I wonder how many of these go into the hands of real divers for some field testing for awhile before rolling them out? Seems mostly they might go into a pressure pot a few times (fresh water likely) to see if prototypes can deal with it. That is a far cry from real diving.

Now your questions have no answers.  Sad

But the switches really cause doubts ...

Nitecore generally make decent stuff, and the light price would seem to put it in the category of being one of the better models. The rusted switch problem has all been for much cheaper lights. But…..switches are one of the real weak points for a dive light, if you dive. I dive, it’s important to me. If you don’t dive, it’s not that important as long as the switch works. But in that case you are spending extra for qualities that are not that important to surface use.

It has been only one year since the start of this group buy.

And now I can offer a deal.

If you are interested in $5x.99, please inform in this thread.

Thanks but I already have more dive lights than I need to justify this level of purchase. Looks to be a decent light though.

swiming on sunset
night fishing
flirt at dawn

cave diving is much more than tech diving Wink

I like when diving equipment is produced by people who have never seen the sea.
