Looks like the MF-01 kicks butt compared to most of the others. I have the XP-G version and love it. Lights up the neighborhood.

Subbing to follow

Thanks for these, nice shots. To me the D4 xp-g2 appears much brighter than the 219c version, did not expect that.

Thanks charles. The tints and colors from the D4’s look beautiful. They appear easy on the eyes too

Looks like my choice of the D4 xpl-hi 3A for my 2nd one may be justified.

:+1:
That’s the one I bought and love it. It’s amazing how much light comes out of that small package.

If only i have ordered mf-01 when it was still in-stock :person_facepalming:

yeah i agree MF-01 really does kick butt. If it comes in NARSILM it will be even more perfect. Btw my D4 XPL HI 3A 5000K & M43 NW XP-G2 S4 3D 4885K is not that bad either but MF-01 price is awesome for the amount of lumen. :money_mouth_face:

I look forward to comparing the output vs hand heat with my 219C Green Hulk. :confounded:
This one will be my Gray Ghost, I guess. :rage:

Thanks for the pictures charles lin. you have quite a few very nice lights. :+1:

Thanks

nice, that 4000K jumped out the most
It would be funny to wait with making the pictures till the lights have been blasting on turbo for a minute to se what remains of these walls of light though  (please don’t way too much work  )

Giggle

Very nice. Thank you for these excellent comparative beam shots,

The difference on the beamshot beetween the D4 219c and D4 xpg2 doesn’t correlate with the specs at all, there is something going on, i have a 219c one coming to me, i hope they are not putting very low flux bins 219 :frowning:

Ok, two things cause that

  • I intentional use Sanyo GA in D4 219c, so less heat will generate. Both xpl-hi & xpg2 use Sony VTC6.
  • I used D4 219c as light source in the night I took beamshot photos. Therefore, It has slightly Voltage Sag than other two.

The D4 219c also catches the entire tree tops very clearly while the XPG2 does not, despite the above points. Hard to say if it has that much more flood or if it was how the light was held. All else looks similar so it may just be a better flooder.

Thanks Charles i’m reassured for my incoming D4. :+1:
