My biggest help has been vitamin B12 injections. My regimen is very extreme and many doctors puff at the idea but I’m glad I met a neurologist who thought outside of the box and wasn’t afraid to be different. For three months I gave myself a shot of 1cc vitamins b12. And since then I’ve have been doing shots 2-3 times per week indefinitely. That was over two years ago now. The difference can be noticed anywhere between 2 and 6 weeks.

Magnesium has also been helpful to a much lesser extent. However plain ol mag from the grocery store gives me the poops. So I use an oxygenated mag that is more easily absorbed.

Numbness in hands and legs could be minimized by always positioning my limbs at a slight angle, not straight, when I sleep.

Also, it can be something like ‘referred pain’, and it gets worse as you are mentally stressed about it.

Doing strength training 1-2 times each week, will release growth hormones like testosterone, a hormone that declines with age, but can be maintained with strength training. That training will also strengthen your neural system. After 3 months of regular training to build up basic strength you will need only 1 training each week to maintain the strength. You will feel much stronger. Remember to eat like a horse in that period because calorific surplus is needed to build muscles and get stronger. In the gym, they have machines to do supported squats and pull-ups some of the most effective exercises.

Are you crazy? That’s like going out there with a loaded gun! Of course that’s why you’re nervous.”

But there is also a lot to be said for training the strength of your shoulders/arms/hands.
