I guess that aticle could be titled many different ways.
Very basic tips for a healthy lifestyle. They are basic but not ineffective!
My biggest help has been vitamin B12 injections. My regimen is very extreme and many doctors puff at the idea but I’m glad I met a neurologist who thought outside of the box and wasn’t afraid to be different. For three months I gave myself a shot of 1cc vitamins b12. And since then I’ve have been doing shots 2-3 times per week indefinitely. That was over two years ago now. The difference can be noticed anywhere between 2 and 6 weeks.
Magnesium has also been helpful to a much lesser extent. However plain ol mag from the grocery store gives me the poops. So I use an oxygenated mag that is more easily absorbed.
I do not smoke, drink coffee or alcohol, use to do ALL three many years ago.
I do have nerve damage in my Neck. Two herniated discs, congenital spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease and degenerative arthritis! sounds bad, everyone has some degeneration as we age.Mine are work and sports related.
I also have Two herniated discs in my Lumbar spine. That has caused more problems than my neck over the last few years.Throw in Three knee operations and Plantar Fasciitis.

Doing strength training 1-2 times each week, will release growth hormones like testosterone, a hormone that declines with age, but can be maintained with strength training. That training will also strengthen your neural system. After 3 months of regular training to build up basic strength you will need only 1 training each week to maintain the strength. You will feel much stronger. Remember to eat like a horse in that period because calorific surplus is needed to build muscles and get stronger. In the gym, they have machines to do supported squats and pull-ups some of the most effective exercises.
Training is crucial here just as confidence! Calm down your mind and your hands will be kept calm too!
Going in for sport to make your hands strong is also a good idea!
Of course there are always people who won’t agree. Let me quote from the movie “There is something about Mary”.
Dom: “…… Oh my God, he doesn’t flog the dolphin before a big date.
Are you crazy? That’s like going out there with a loaded gun! Of course that’s why you’re nervous.”
But there is also a lot to be said for training the strength of your shoulders/arms/hands.
