May you rest in peace.

No way. Marshall? Rest in peace my dear brother.

He was a young man, hate to hear that, one of the only a few brick and mortar stores I know of that has any kind of a flashlight selection.

So sad to hear about this.

Marshall was such a positive spirit that gave our community so much.

Lets keep his legacy alive.

This can not be true?! Such a young man, Rest In Peace :frowning:

Shocked and saddened by the news. Although i have not met him in person, i have been following his YouTube channel for a quite a number of years.

My condolences to the Marshall's family.

Shocked!

Subscribed to his YouTube reviews some time back and he’s the last person I’d expect to hear this sort of news about.

Seemed like such a genuine guy, I’m sure he’ll be missed by many.

I am so saddened by this news and was hoping it was a mistake. Marshall and GoingGear was such a huge part of my many years here. How many of his video flashlight reviews did I watch? Prayers to his family……

This is terrible. I watched so many of his videos. He loved flashlights and the outdoors. I went to his original store and it was amazing seeing all the lights he had out for customers to try out. Very sad to hear of his passing.

Very sad to here. He was young, is there mention of what happened?
Such a positive and informative asset this community.
Prayer for him and his family.

Totally shocked… It was Marshall who got me into flashlights. May he rest in peace.

oh damn so sad :frowning: i watched alot of his flashlight reviews over the years it was his videos that inspired me to buy the more expensive flashlights… this isnt fair :frowning: he seemed like a cool guy.

Was he sick or was it an accident ?

Its still hard to believe. Im also in shock and had to read twice. I wish the very best for his family and those close to him. He will be sorely missed by many.

Oh good god. What the flip happened to make such a lively guy pass on like that?!

Sad to see this
Sure is good to see what a nice community flashlight people are.

What a shocker! I’m at a loss for words other than RIP Marshall. I’ve been a customer for years. He will be missed :frowning:

I’m sure many people here remember the old tree behind his house that was used for his beam shots before it was cut down several years ago.

That must be pretty old school. I only remember the boathouse, the 100yd targeting range (with the blue raft) and the woods when he decided to walk and talk.

I watched so many of his videos, I’m gonna miss him terribly. He was the only store-affiliated channel that showed the product without making it an overt sales pitch. Helped me think a lot more critically about what I wanted in a torch back in 2014/15 when I was starting out - frick, he was the reason why I got a Jetbeam BA20, because of an old review of his on the Klarus P2A.

Terrible news. RIP Marshall…
I bought my first “good” flashlight from him and a few more after that.

Condolences to the family for the loss of a fine gentleman.
RIP
