What to do with an L2 D18 body?

I’ve had a Solarforce L2 D18 body sitting here for a few years now and I’m not sure what to do with it. I had originally intended to pick up a K3 head for it but I’m not sure if that’s the way I want to go. Any ideas?

XHP-50.2 and 70.2 dropin comes to mind. Ask Adventure Sports to make you one or make it yourself. XHP-35 on 4-18350’s.

Buy a 19mm reamer and bore the tube.

Why 19mm?

Because most 18650 compatible lights have 18.9-19.1mm bore.

It already accepts 18650’s.

So what means D18?

I have no idea lol. I know for a fact that 18650’s fit because I’ve tried it.

Probably 18mm nominal diameter, for 18650s.

I was thinking of a complete light but with 18mm reflector/drop-in, like a D26 (ie, P60, P90). But nope, it’s just the battery tube. Should fit any head and tail.

I’ve got 3 of them from SolarForce. They are just extended bodies for clean builds, no extensions needed for 2-18650 builds. I got mine for the Cree XHP and MT-G2 series. They do look nice with the K3 and M3 heads.
