MT35 has 500k lux, whereas K70 has 640k lux. Ok. Thanks!

looks like either MT35 or MF02 wont be beating K70 and i dont know what they can beat the king of throw Thrunite TN42

Acebeam K70 head diameter - 88mm and Astrolux MF02 head diameter 84mm although MF02 is driven to the max but i doubt it will out perform K70

not sure how they claim it can throw 1697M ……oh well i smell false advertisement

I too am skeptical of the rated specs. I’ll wait for reviews to see if it really meets them.

I may just skip this light and get the double priced GT. It’s a serious light beating everything on the market.

If I had to bet, I would say that the Astrolux MF02 will have no difference with the Mateminco MT35.

So what you see in this thread is what MF02 is capable of doing. Around 500kcd, around 1.3-1.4 kms of throw if I am not mistaken. Personally it is what I imagined since we knew the measures of the reflector

For around $ 70 it will cost, I find it a great buy.

The BLF GT is a completely different thing. It is a huge flashlight, very very big and heavy, too big and heavy, it is a flashlight with very little usability due to its size and weight, that is why I have discarded it.

Maybe for you. I wish it was bigger so I can throw it on my shoulder and fire it at targets like a bazooka! Lol

LOL

Thanks Miguel

So only 2A to the led? Not thrilling….
Thanks Miguel.

Yeah, so about 2,000 lumen and not the rated 2700 listed on the Aliexpress website.
Also not 1697 meters. Maybe 1400m?

Still, this is pretty good for the price. I kind of knew tho specs were not going to be met.

BTW, BG shows a Nov 15 ship date for the Astrolux version.

Highly doubtful this light can throw 1400m.

Acebeam K70 have bigger reflector and it pump 2000lumen (2A to LED) which throw about 1km.

No way astrolux MF02 can beat K70 if it drive 2A to LED

Is the Astrolux MF02 head diameter still 84mm? What I’m understand from freeme is this light is capable to throw 530,000cd/1456m with 2.6A. Then it’s actually not bad for the price.

There was talk of Astrolux thinning the stainless bezel a little and increasing the reflector diameter 2mm. Changing the head diameter was too big of a change.

Now we just need to wait until someone can test the Astrolux version and verify all this. It’s supposed to start selling in less than a week.

Maybe we should talk about the Astrolux version on the Astrolux thread?

Oops, it’s been changed from Nov 15 to Nov 30.

Ha ha~
most of the pictures were taken by me.

Wow, those beamshots are practically the same.

If all you care about is performance, the MT35 is equal to the K70, but at half the price. Impressive.

more two pictures… :sunglasses:

K70

There is a slight difference but not enough to justify the extra price of the K70.

The Mt35 does look warmer than the K70.
