I bought three knives of Bee (a brand of Sanrenmu) and one of them don't have a logo or a model mark on the blade. I informed the seller (I bought it on aliexpress) and he told me that older knives don't have a logo on the blade.
The rest is identical as the other knives - I don't suppose that it is a fake. I want to know, if this is correct and the older versions do not have a logo or does it only miss the production step where all blades are marked with model and logo.
Does anyone of you have a Sanrenmu, Land, Enlan oder Bee knife without it?
I have an old (from 2008 or 2009) Sanrenmu 762 that is completely devoid of all labeling, so it is entirely possible that your knife is genuine. The 762 has performed very well and it has superb build quality (higher than some of my much more expensive spydercos) so I do not doubt its authenticity.
There must be a connection between Enlan and Sanrenmu, because the on the old homepage of Sanrenmu you find the Enlan EL01 under the name Sanrenmu 01 Commando. The Bee EL05-01 was on the Sanrenmu homepage, too.
I suppose that Enlan, Bee and Land are a brands of Sanrenmu. Many Land knives are not produced anymore.
I also think that website is a fake company website. They sell some real SRMs but also shill a 910 plus Sanrenmu which is an absolute fake with even the wrong company logo on the blade.
" The major knife/multitool brands that were examined were Sanrenmu/Land, Enlan/Bee, Ganzo, Tekut and Navy.
They are 5 separate companies with different ownership, unless something major has changed since December of last year. The site that's commonly referenced for Sanrenmu is not actually SanRenMu's official brand site - that's an advertising site run by a third party."
