My two 21700 48G came in yesterday from FT after an unusual 5 weeks transit – but they made it nonetheless.
Quite some fat and heavy cells – essentially big 18650.

Now where is that mysterious X light? Evil

What charger are you using. Seems like they would be too long for a normal charger.

A 21700 48G is only about 1mm longer than a protected 18650 cell. Many chargers accommodate this length no problem, including my Lii-500 and MiBoxer C4-12.

As someone mentioned somewhere, i can confirm they do fit in the Opus BT-C3100.

At this rate it will have to be for next season. Nights are short from May to July.

To be fair if it’s a lot bigger you could use multiple batteries or 26650 to achieve the same thing

I love UT-02, but would like to have something just slightly floodier and significantly lighter. At this size 26650 is a good choice, but I’d prefer 21700 due to smaller weight of both host and battery and not that much worse capacity.
We already knew X would be sized between C8 and D1S. I knew it would be smaller than my optimum. I hoped it would be closer to D1S, it would still make it interesting. It appears closer to the C8. It doesn’t make it any worse in general, just different from what I want.
