I started with a few Surefire flashlights back in ’02 & in ’08 I got the 6P LED and a bunch of CR123As. When I needed some more batteries for them, I found /r/flashlight and all of the newer LED flashlights. They got me hooked on the latest lights, and I’ve bought 6 new lights, a bunch of 18650 batteries, and a couple of chargers. RIP my wallet.
For my next flashlight, I want to try to DIY. The last time I soldered anything was about 20 years ago, but I ’m gonna do it. Still don’t know what I want to build, but I’ll figure it out.

Grew up there and sold Ice Cream sandwiches in the stands in my youth. (1970’s)
Also got to witness some people from the far east beat each other with big bamboo sticks until the PA State Police broke up the fight, Cleared that section of the outfield banks for quite some time.
