I have just received the above with XPL HI U6-3A 5000-5200K.
Right at the middle of the hotspot is a definate yellow circle, not visible on my BLF A6 XML HI??
Picture link below — it looks worse with the naked eye.
Anyone else seen this?
Thanks

Yes, I purchased the sand s2+ (XP-L HI) in U6-3A and I too have a yellowish hot spot. I find its only noticeable when I fire it at a white wall at close range.
It is my EDC and one of my fav lights despite this.

Thanks for that.
I have purchased it for a Christmas present so good to know if haven’t got a faulty one.
Must be a “feature” of that particular LED.
Using an OP reflector makes it less noticeable and softens the beam edges, but probably reduces throw somewhat.

Good point - My BLF A6 has OP reflector. Both nice lights anyway.

The same yellow spot was visible on the much more expensive Nitecore MH20GT so i guess it has to do something with the XPL HI led.
