Any news on modified PCB’s for the battery carrier? I would be interested in that for a more “OEM” solution.

I see you have boards for the TN42. What (over stock) are the advantages gained by using your configurations?

It’s mainly the different UI. NarsilM with ramping, blinking out battery voltage, etc… It is usually way better than the stock UI’s.

You can also adjust the power output if you want. Up to 3A at 12v. If the stock light only had 2A for instance, you could bump it up a little to 2.5A and get a bit more output.

2.5A GT makes a bump from 663 to 707kcd on a TN42 I modded
current over 2.5A makes no sense, 2.7-2.8 on a good cooler there may be a few % gain in throw but also this mainly starts getting the LED to turn over to get blue very quick

Main advantage is the UI you can change so many things like you want the UI for your purpose

…and the blinking strobe frequency goes to 18Hz as the Q8?
About the TN42 now.Is it difficult to open up this something like the GT?

as I wrote 663 to 705kcd measured with 2.5A

of course I can do any output current as you wish

Hi Lexel.
What about the TN40S?Is it possible to upgrade this as well, and what will be the benefit?

Quick question Lexel.
On the BlF GT driver for the MF02 there is one pad for the led on the driver for the switch but there are 2 leds on the switch.. So do I put both on the same pad or just pick the color I want to use and go with that one?? Thanks in advance.

I sold one 8A Buck driver for the TN40 that got modded with XHP35s

So the TN40S can be modded as well to 12V Emitters

I guess the carrier needs to be modified to 4S did not find information about it

I have let made 4S boards with last PCB order

You can choose 1 color on the board without modification
Green and red have different LED voltages so only red will light up if you add both
I made new 2×2 LED Boards
you can have 2 LEDs one on Power and one from MCU

The MF02 carrier MCPCB and springs are pretty good quality
It is easy to mod those 2 in less than 5 Minutes

I measured on another Manufactor for the carrier rods diameter for the MCPCB holes and those do not fit the MF02 without drilling holes, but this is reducing the 4 main viases making electrical connection less good

I already have a MK35 and was wondering if you had a driver for that light?

Lexel do you have TA driver PCB for MF02? I want to put in an XHP70.2 in 6V setup with TA driver and Andúril firmware.

I have Buck driver for it on 8.4 or 16.8V Battery configuration
I strongly recommend 12V LED configuration for 6-7A equal 12-14A on 6V

I modded one with 12V here also LED on 12V configuration

Sure it is easier on the springs and wires with lower current. OK

I never had a MK35 light so hard to say if it would fit without getting the driver out and take measurements
technically it is possible to get the brass ring and button on a 46mm MT07S board, but if te inductor and other stuff fits in the head idnk

reviews do not open driver section

Kawiboy, you running a xhp 70.2 in the MF02? If so, are you running a 12V 20mm mcpcb or did you mod a 6v mcpcb to 12v?

I just fried my xhp 70.2 while reflowing it. Trying to decide what im going to do next.

25-32mm MCPCBs fit with little modification
There are Maxtoch ones or Fasttech 25mm DTP boards available you can mod to 12V

The driver needs another resistor for switching frequency if you have a 12V configured driver and you want to go to 6V LED
current stays the same

Naw just upgraded the driver in the MF02 to a 4S running a K70 4S carrier I had to shave down the diameter of the PCB’s to fit the battery tube of the MF02.

I have (way too) many 70.2’s,,, the 1-BLF GT, 2-Thrunite TN42’s, 2-Lumintop SD75’s, 3-Convoy L6’s, 1-Convoy L2, 2-Jaxman X6 Hunter’s, 2-Surefire M3 Combat Light’s, 1-Surefire 900A, 2-Surefire M3 Combat lights I custom made, 2-Surefire 962’s weapon lights, 1-Thrustfire T90-2, 1-Yezl Y3…just off the top of my head, got enough 70.2’s! Facepalm

@Lexel Do you have a working buck driver/sell the buck driver with NarsilM for a Haikelite MT09R?

Is it the xhp35 or xhp70.2?

Lexel will need to convert it to 12v. I think it can be done since the battery tubes use replacable pcb’s. Iirc, the mt09r has the same size driver as some of his other lights using the buck driver. I’m pretty sure he can do it. We’ll have to wait till he responds for more details.

Have you asked Texas_Ace? He is working on a bunch of mt09r’s right now and is closer in Texas. I don’t know if he has a buck driver made up, but he might. It’s worth asking.
