I too prefer the look of the right one, but I’m with Trevi_lux, the skull is not a think I’d like on the flashlight! The “stonewashed” look, yes, not the skull! Even if it had LEDs in the eyes, I would say that it makes the flashlight a bit “bulky”!

But I’m liking this idea…just don’t know if I’ll like the price when it comes out Facepalm Cash

Well, we are still on the BLF – and titanium is not Budget-friendly Wink
I think that Aluminium gives us all we need.
It’s cheap, well machinable, transports the heat good enough and it can be colored in a ton of colours.

Ehehe, you’re right Big Smile
But without knowing anything about it, myself, could an Aluminium light get a “stonewashed” look an Titanium?
Meaning, could the light shown on the left have the look of the one in the right (that also looks like stainless steel)?
Sorry if this “off topic”, but you made think about that Glasses

Why has nobody produced carbon fiber flashlights yet? those would be really cool!

Please do, and also about other aspects such as user interface and other aspects, LEDs type (tint, options, …) Wink I guess those will be very important to decide for this light or not Wink

But of course, the price will be a major player in this, of course Cash
Thanks in advance Thumbs Up

It will have 2 LEDs – one Cool White and one Warm White, working independently. And it is supposed to be a tail switch. Wink Stay tuned for more details.

Hum…that means that the images posted before will not be “this” flashlight? The photos show a side switch…

It is “this” flashlight, only the switch was changed to tail switch (most customers like tail switch according to our research on social medias).

Well I did really like this light but a tail switch on that small of a light kills it for me. A tail clicks on a light that small makes it really clumsy for a guy with big hands. A pinch between two fingers is much easier.

Oh, ok!! I thought it was other flashlight!

Hum, I’ll be honest and I’ll agree with Turningbluechips: the side switch on this light would be outstanding, not only because of the size, but also because of the look itself!

This has everything to be a “premium” light, and the side switch would be a major plus (in my opinion) marking a position towards other brands and models. Also, it would probably allow a much better user interface. This is only my opinion, of course!
Let’s see where this will lead! Thumbs Up

Are there any ideas about the User Interface, so far?

I will tell this once again: Mecarmy has the chance to make this flashlight a great EDC light (also depending on the price)! Please make sure you have a nice (eventually programmable) user interface Wink

I love this concept ! Love

It won’t be a dealbreaker, but I’d really like to see a moonlight mode on this lamp.

Well, banggood.com doesn’t make it easy to search for the term “carbon fiber” regarding flashlights. But still here is at least one to get you started. Lumintop Prince

You should note that AFAIK, there isn’t a flashlight “made” out of carbon fiber, but there are some, like this one, that have carbon fiber decorations.
