Does it also take a single 18650, or is it only 2xCR123?

Aha. I think that’s going to be a deal breaker for most people here. But good luck anyway, and welcome to BLF! Party

It is only 2xCR123 or 1× 16650 Protected

Interesting. Didn’t even know these things existed. Perhaps you can include this battery in your deal as an option? I think the light would be more attractive with a rechargeable battery option instead of just primaries.
(Nevertheless it still would be fairly difficult to sell these here I think…)

A nice looking light but lacking in output and hard to find rechargeable cells makes it a no from me.

I don’t think anyone would be interested. It is the end of 2017 not the 2007.

Hmm, yeah, I know, CR123 is easy to find tho. It may be better when there is a power failure. Big Smile but I don’t know. There may be someone will need such a light?

Thank you for let me know your opinions. I know that maybe a trouble to find the cells. Anyway, the CR123 has some reasons to exist until now right? And there are many models powered by 2* CR123, such as some of Surefire Streamlight Fenix, etc. I believe each light has its specific audiences. That’s why we are here to discuss and find our loved torch. And I am not the representative for INOVA, I just got a chance to know they are on sale.
Oops sxv, I will tell you a secret, that is I took a time machine from 2007 to be here, lol, just kidding. Thanks again for post ~

I have a circa 2006 Inova 2x CR123 light on my desk along with the rest of my collection. I was impressed by it when it was new. These days, I wish there was an easy mod, but the works are reportedly press-fit in place. As I recall, there was someone who got it apart by filling the battery compartment with water and freezing it. I’m tempted to give it a try myself.

Too many streetlights, not enough flashlights.

Damn, I like the looks ‘cause it’s a bit Minimag-ish (ie, nice sleek design), but I confess, the 16650 is a dealbreaker for me.

It certainly is a good looking light. Perhaps it’s even a classic? That would be a good reason for anyone to purchase; it’s a timeless design and produces more than enough lumens for everyday use.

(This is the reason I bought and like my Led Lensers)

Hmm, that’s really a trouble to get cells? I didn’t notice that before. Tired

I get aggravated when I have to use 16340s because 18350s won’t fit. If I have 1 light that needs its own special size cells, it’s “one more item to inventory”.

Vs being able to drop in an 18650 into practically any light I have, even one that’d take a 26650 (but use a sleeve or those bands that go around the 18).

Just making the tube 2mm wider (an extra 1mm in radius) would allow an 18650 to be used.

Yeah, I got you. If I produce my own light, I will make it allow 18650. Big Smile

Nice looking light!! .. Thumbs Up
But for me to, 18650 or 26650 even; it would have to be for my interest.

Good luck & welcome to BLF…… Smile
