I received my Enogear AA stainless steel today and it actually does look very good and feels solid. Much better than I expected but not as good as the Reylight TiLan. The light is kind of spotty and is very rosy color unlike the typical cheap yellow/green. I will do some ceiling bounce measurements later.

Also the package and light smells bad like petroleum. I washed the flashlight inside out with soap and now I don’t smell it anymore.

Glad to hear you got yours. Mine has been shipped one month ago and still not delivered which is an unusual delay – it usually takes two weeks, but i sometime waited two month for an order…

About the petroleum smell… it seems a lot of orders from China have that smell, no idea why. It is especially noticeable when ordering cloth.

My order is approaching 1 month. Are they coming from China or India?

It came from China I believe. I tossed the box. They shipped mine out the next day of purchase.

Ordered mine 3/24, it was shipped 3/25 and I got it 04/18. Not too bad really. I wasn’t in a huge hurry to begin with. Anything coming from overseas I already know I am going to wait a bit. Too many unknowns with a package leaving another country and arriving through customs in this country. I don’t get nervous until about 45 days or so and thats only happened once and it arrived the next day.

Great little light by the way. Love the NW tint. Fit and finish are excellent. Clicky is very nice and quality feeling. Puts out plenty of light. PWM in low and mid, my eyes don’t see it and I can only hear it if I put it up to my ear and it’s dead quiet in the house. If it has next mode memory if turned off before 3 seconds, I haven’t noticed it. Guess I never use my lights for 2.99 seconds or less. Well spaced modes. No moonlight but that is just fine. I have many other lights that have excellent moon mode. I really don’t need one on every light I own. If every light I have had the same UI then it would be quite boring I reckon. I like company’s using UI’s that stand out and give them a bit of personality.

Overall just a good looking and great performing little light. Hard to beat for the price in my opinion. Going to pick up the Brass Cube in NW pretty soon. I have lots of Aluminum tube lights and C8’s and whatnot. I am starting to like all the different brass, copper, Ti, and stainless lights.

I put a EVVA Sanyo 14500 800mah protected cell in there and fried it Facepalm

It started flickering and just turned off. Now even with AA eneloops it flickers like mad and turns off.

Oh, I want one. Going to wait until I move before I order.

So this has a odd driver size?

I ordered this light as well as the brass AA cube light on Friday and on Sunday morning received a notification that they had shipped. Looks like they have removed the need to provide them with anything other than an email address before checking out with paypal.

Thanks for mentioning that ‘cube’ light. I didn’t noticed it before… I will be happy to read some feedback about it! Thumbs Up

I could not help it. Not my fault. The 18500 brass beauty just had to come home to Texas. All there is to it. Case closed. Smile

Love my AA stainless so much I now carry it just about everywhere. Debating on either the Brass Cube or the Titanium 18650. I know that I will end up with both eventually, just can’t decide which one first.

Also a month and still waiting. Even had to break the “only one light in the mail” rule because of this one Wink

I think it was about 3 weeks it took for mine to get here. Jackie may be quite busy. Seen a lot of talk on here about the lights and the giveaway he started as well. That might have pulled in a bunch more business as well. I have talked to him by email a few times. Easy to talk to and very nice. I do know that anything I order from him will come faster than anything I ever order from Ali.

Clicked on the link a few days and every time it was listed for $19.90. Until a few moments ago: it’s back to $14.90. So I ordered one. Maybe the website itself is not secure, but without logging in the checkout links directly from cart to Paypal. Now it’s just a matter of wait and see when it shows up at my doorstep.

Still not received it.

Well, in my case it’s just over 6 weeks (from march 22nd). Still nothing received.
Have ordered 3 times since that date and they all arrived.

They agreed to ship me the replacement head. Will probably have to wait a month for it to come.

Received my light this afternoon (47 days). Delivered by the regular mail(wo)man. Packaging was adequate, light was looking good. Put in a Windyfire 14500 IMR. It went from low, to med, to high, and into some blinkie mode and than stopped. Removed the 14500 and put in a Duraleak. Very faint version of three modes, with one very eye-blinding exception. Put the 14500 back: same reaction. Never saw the flash again.
Tried to open it. Well, good luck. The body-plus-switch is screwed on to one side of the pill, and the head is screwed on to the other side of the pill. So when you open the light it is going to be a kind of a lottery to which part the pill will stick: to the head or to the body. Any way, I am not completely sure if the malfunction lies in the driver or in the led, but I noticed that the dome of the led was damaged (melted ?!?).

Not sure i understand what the problem has been…? It stopped working on 14500? What flash do you refer to? Sorry this is a bit confusing.

Mine is still not there. I’m closing on two month waiting…
